Photography: 365 Project: Week Fourteen

Challenge: Take a picture once a day, every day, for 365 days. I will be doing this through Instagram and my iPhone4. I’m hoping to publish this into a photo book in a year’s time, which will include haikus that will act as the photo’s commentary. Wanna do it too? Photojojo has some groovy guidelines you might find inspiring.

91: national airport metro

Yeah, lots of daily grind daily commute sorts of pictures this last month. You’ll probably see another month of them, frankly. Welcome to the Washington National Airport, which is probably one of the more anal retentive airports in the nation. 3 hours prep and security for a half hour flight…

We all wait. Half of those people are going to the second floor. In flat footed shoes. When there are perfectly good stairs.

I feel like i don’t get to take enough pictures of nature. And sometimes, we focus too much on the dead and decaying when we’re surrounded by life and beauty. </artsyfartsy>

Oh yeah, i have Hipstamatic on my phone.
When i was born, the baby bag that the hospital sent my mother home with was a Little Twin Stars bag. When i was old enough to go to school, this was my backpack up until 2nd grade. Imagine my glee when a Sanrio store opened in my town, and i found this mug in it. It’s kinda like the childhood blanket that you refuse to throw away.

Fall is acting strangely this year, due to the vast changes in axis and therefore the vast changes in weather conditions. Some trees are turned and falling apart within one day, but most trees haven’t begun to turn yet. Some mornings, the world reflects what’s racking around in my brain.
