Photography: 365 Project: Week Twenty Eight

Challenge: Take a picture once a day, every day, for 365 days. I will be doing this through Instagram and my iPhone4. I’m hoping to publish this into a photo book in a year’s time, which will include haikus that will act as the photo’s commentary. Wanna do it too? Photojojo has some groovy guidelines you might find inspiring.

189: Russian smirnov ftw. Does not compare.

We went and visited Michael and Cyndi, dear friends of Dave’s. Cyndi is a world reknown belly dancer, and the last time she was in Russia, she brought back some Smirnov. I like to consider myself a Vodka aficionado, and let me tell you: When the world says the U.S. knows jack and his brother shit about Vodka, i’m now inclined to agree with them. It was the best i’d ever had.

190: mavi and the tome of Tequila

Brunch at El Centro. Mike and Mavi are Tequila aficionados.  I was schooled. Tequila and i have a sorted love affair.

191: a warm place is often cluttered.

I’ve been hiding at Dave’s apartment,  so that i’m not bothered by other people while trying to get some work done. I’ve unwittingly signed on for a couple of album covers, gig posters, t shirts, and photoshoots. LETS GET IT DONE.

192: Russian top view 120 came in the mail! So excited to learn it.

He ordered an old russian TLR camera. We have no idea if it works, but we want to learn it together.

193: pat's geburtstag Festival

Pat’s birthday! Lots of Dagohir, belly dancers, and code monkeys in the room. Patrick keeps interesting friends. On the way back to Dave’s from the bar (which is a short walk), i dislocated my kneecap again. Considering it had just happened in May, i was a little more than annoyed. Those around me did not realize the severity of a dislocated kneecap.

194: crippled again. Ordered in a lot.

Since i was kind of strung up and crippled, so we ordered in quite a bit.
